Questions and Answers from NSA's - Article 18

Covers a wide variety of topics. Make sure you read them all to get all the information.

by  Victoria Ring---Bio

Dear Victoria:  Wow, what an awesome learning experience I encountered at Columbus.  It is rare to find people of your integrity, expertise and knowledge who can so succinctly teach the subject matter presented in your two workshops.  It was obvious that those of us who attended were there to learn, and like sponges, we absorbed as much as our brain cells could handle, but still wanting to hear more.

The NSA workshop was excellent.  With a small number of attendees, it allowed for more interaction among all of us and a chance to obtain answers to dilemmas that we have encountered in our NSA businesses.  Those that brought copies of certain troublesome documents to share, I thank them.  Some of the docs I have not encountered, but if I do, I'm now prepared to handle them.  And as a suggestion for your future workshops, Victoria and Elaina, please ask future attendees to do the same.  What we learned from each of you, as well as all of us as a group, was pure gold.  Additionally, the use of Victoria Rivera's CD showing how to conduct a closing was great.

The Bankruptcy Forms Processing workshop was extraordinary.  What a superb presentation!  However, a one-day workshop does not allow enough time to go through all of the finite details of this business and allow an interchange of questions among the attendees.  Maybe a two-day workshop might be considered?

I have attended many business training workshops over the years, but yours is far and away the most educational and productive I have experienced.  Both you and Elaina are so very approachable, caring, and personable as teachers and mentors.  You made the statement that some people feel that all of you are too direct with your comments.  I say that I value your "straight to the point" and no sugar coated comments.  If I want hype and  motivational jargon, I can go elsewhere for that.  But to build a successful business and become a knowledgeable, respectable business person requires experienced people who will tell you the real world, nuts and bolts facts of establishing and operating a business.

To each of you, thank you for who you are and all that you do to assist in my success.  I value your friendship, mentorship, and integrity.   If I can assist you in any small way, you have only to ask.  With much respect and regards --Jo Anne Sessom

Dear Jo Anne:  Thank you so much for allowing me to share your comments with The Notary News subscribers. Even though 50 State Notary suffered a financial loss from the workshops, it is comforting to know that the materials we developed were of such great use by the attendees. I am taking steps now to get this same information out on a mass level. Even with the high overhead expenses of the workshop, we are still only able to reach a small number of people at a time.  But thank you Jo Anne for your email and I wish you the best of success.

Dear Victoria:  I received your book "How to Start, Operate and Market a Freelance Notary Signing Agency Business" last evening. I have begun reading the info and already am thoroughly convinced that you are indeed a child of God who wants to assist others with good, sound info and training aids.  I am appreciative of you already and feel that I am on my way to building a blessed business.  Also, I am really excited now about receiving the other materials I ordered regarding the bankruptcy petition business. You are an answer to my prayer.  Continue living for the Lord.  Thank  you for blessing me to be a blessing to others. --Diana

Dear Diana:  It was kind of you to take the time to email us.  I thank God for the talent He gave me to be able to write and use those words to benefit others.  But dear, I am not a saint and I mess up just like everyone else. Do not put me on a pedestal, but rather praise and thank God for directing you into His will for your life.

Dear Victoria:  I just wanted to say thank you for your advice and help in answering my questions concerning loan signing agencies. I had a problem with them telling me: The docs were canceled -- after accepting the assignments. If you are a new loan signing agent, sometimes the loan signing agencies will pick up on that and will call you back to cancel the assignment. They prefer someone with more experience. That is why it is important to read your books and find a experienced loan signing agent to go with so you know what to do on an assignment. When I called to as advice, your assistant was very nice to me and gave me good advice on how to handle it in the future.

Some on the most common problems (or mistakes) in the beginning of learning the ropes can be very useful later on on becoming a good notary signing agent. The books I bought from you are also very helpful as well as the CD's. It's nice to know you are there for support. You have to be the best in the business and the most helpful for all of us out here that need it! After I become an experienced loan signing agent I want to help other agents too. It's important to have a good network going ... in fact it is absolutely vital to have it! Helping others will help you too. What happens when you cannot accept an assignment? You refer it to another reputable loan signing agent! They will do the same for you. Besides that ... you are doing a service by helping others ... just like you! God Bless you Victoria Ring and your wonderful staff. You make such a big difference to us all. --Richard Whitney Jr.

Dear Richard:  Thank you so much. I am happy to know that you can see the true necessity of networking, but you have to learn how to network with the right people. There are people out there who will sap all your energy and never return your favors.  These types of people will live a short life in this industry but they continue to exist. Therefore, you must use good judgment in networking and protect yourself from being taken advantage of.  In all industries there are always people who are too lazy to work and they will look around for anything they can get for free. However, when you find good, honest people, stick with them. Value them like rare gems and treat them right as I am sure you do.

Dear Victoria:  When I tried to view your sample video all I get is a black screen.  There is no video playing. --Janice

Dear Janice:  The sample video of drafting a bankruptcy petition on our website is in streaming video format directly from the secure server. Unless you have a DSL or high-speed internet connection you will be unable to view the video because your modem is too slow. You can either try viewing the video on another computer that has a high-speed connection or consider upgrading your service.  We offer the sample in streaming video format because the majority of our customer base has DSL or high-speed internet access.  Having both formats would slow down the quality of the video since it was produced for high-speed connections.
