Dear Victoria: Thank you so much for sponsoring the teleconference this evening and so many evenings. I am struggling with my Notary Signing/Virtual Assistant business and it was so wonderful to hear so much pertinent and helpful information. I will be back tomorrow evening if my workload allows. The only thing that would stop me is a call to do a signing. God bless you for sharing so much with all of us. --Alexie
Dear Victoria: Congratulations. You are doing an excellent job conducting these teleconferences. They are educational and the participating notaries get great marketing tips and advice from the other notaries. I must add that I have done some closings called RESPA. They are simple and there is only one Affidavit to be notarized. It is not quite often that they are done, but they are popular on the west coast. Also, the purchase closings are another way of working as a notary signing agent. It is more paperwork but not much different than a refinance. I volunteer in the nursing homes. A notary can send an advertising page to attorneys in the neighborhood offering his or her service. I placed a list of notaries thru the local library and I get calls from seniors who cannot drive or even from locals who take a taxi to my home office or the other notarizations for different types of documents. I work a few signings a week in addition to my full-time job (where I notarize only a few documents). Another tip: The churches have bulletin boards where your name can be added for a minimal fee or free to advertise your notary signing business. --Beatrice
Dear Victoria: I enjoyed the teleconference this evening.....I asked if someone could hit on getting to some of the national title companies that have less restrictive fees, and also if someone could share info regarding doing signings for attorneys.....then we got started on IREP and....wow.....that turned into a very popular item!!! That is very good, but the time ran out and i was hoping to get some good input regarding doing signings for attorneys.... you have my permission to give my email and phone number to someone that does those if they would be willing to speak with me a few moments....Thanks again and keep doing what you are doing...Mike Domina, Phone: 402-871-4300, Email: mdomina@cox.net
NOTE: Please feel free to contact Mike Domina if you can help him.

Dear Victoria: How do I get in touch with the typing legal free lance vendor? I worked for the 2000 U.S. Census and was awarded keying certificates for speed and accuracy. --Kathleen
Dear Kathleen: The website address is http://www.lawdocsxpress.com/careers.html

Dear Victoria: I just wanted to take an opportunity to thank you for all you do for notaries. 50 State Notary is the ONLY company that is truly interested in helping us learn how to market our companies. While there are some excellent training courses out there, they only concentrate on the mortgage documents themselves and how to do a proper notarization. Don't get me wrong. Notaries need this vital information also. But after we learn our jobs -- what do we do then? Without 50 State Notary, we would be lost. Before I found your website I was making about $500 a month doing closings. Now I make $2,500 a month just by using the tips you provide to us. I would like to know your future plans on possible expansion of 50 State Notary if you care to provide it. --Maria
Dear Maria: Wow! I am humbled by your words and it brings joy to my heart to know you are doing so well financially. Keep up the great work and I will remember you in my prayers (as I do many others).
But to answer your question: My long-term plans are to teach other notaries marketing skills to build successful companies. Hopefully, some of these notaries will be able to start their own workshops in their area and duplicate the knowledge I provide them. Of course this is a long-term plan. I would love to have marketing workshops for notaries going on in every area of the country, all working under the 50 State Notary ethics and procedures. This would allow more people to receive excellent training since I am only one person and can only be in one place at any one time.
