||||
Covers a wide variety of topics. Make sure you read them all to get all the information. by Victoria Ring---Bio Dear Victoria: I want to thank you for your leadership in bringing together a community of notaries, current and aspiring, in this tele-confab format to explore both the NSA and BFP opportunities. In looking at everything you do and produce I believe you are a brilliant marketer. My question is I need to host a tele-confab myself soon and I know you did your homework in selecting your tele-confab host. Could you share their contact info with me so that I can utilize their services. Rest assured that I will mention that you referred me. --Charles Dear Charles: Thank you for your comments and I am glad the Teleconferences are helping you. The service we use is Live Office Free Conferencing. Click here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Victoria: I just wanted to let you know that I have recently received a huge response from being listed on your Notary Mentoring List. It makes me feel great that so many people are looking at your mentoring list and taking the time to get help from a fellow Notary. I just wish that your mentoring site was available when I was "learning the ropes." Best wishes and thank you! --Patrick ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Elaina: I wanted to thank you again for taking the time out of your busy scheduled to talk with me about becoming a Bankruptcy Forms Processor. Your knowledge about notaries as well as bankruptcy actually left me in awe. There needs to be a lot more people like yourself, both Victoria's (Ring and Rivera) and Andy Matyac who are willing to share their knowledge with total strangers. I ordered the bankruptcy book and look forward to reading and learning from it. I also plan to listen in on the Power Talks Conference. Once again thank you so much, and you will definitely hear from me again. May God bless you! --Deborah ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Victoria: I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for 50 State Notary Directory. I found your website by doing a search under the word Notary. I was so impressed that I joined immediately and have been exceedingly blessed ever since. I was also blessed by your thank you letter for signing up along with the tract you sent. I was blessed to know you are a believer and am fortunate to have found and am a part of an organization such as 50 State Notary backed by Godly principals. My husband is a Pastor and we pastor a non denomination church in Webster New York to about 400 people. I love working as a notary signing agent as I meet great people and I am using a skill that I have had for over 20 years. I am relatively new to being a signing agent. It has only been 3 years. I love going to people's homes to serve them in this capacity. I only work at this part time now but have successfully completed over 100 signings. I am finding that though business has been very slow and I was hoping once I became certified I would get more business. Instead, business has slowed down in this area. I have marketed myself to many local and national companies via letters, email and on line applications. Have you and other notaries found the market down right now? The interest rate is still relatively low. Are there just more singing agents available now than before? I would appreciate knowing if this is the case elsewhere or just in the Rochester New York area. I have signed up with over 20 new companies and have kept weekly contact with my local companies. I know that my local companies are experiencing a volume low. They were so busy last year and expanded their business but this year they have had to downsize their staff and reduce their hours of business. Do you know why this may be happening now, Victoria? I plan to purchase your new book for more tips. Again, I thank you for the 50 State Notary and the Notary News it makes me feel very “connected” to my notary peers. May our Lord richly bless you and your business. I look forward to learning and growing in this profession through the assistance of 50 State Notary. --Jean Dear Jean: I am very happy to know that you are happy with the services 50 State Notary provides as well as sharing our love for Jesus Christ. To answer your question concerning why your business has slowed down -- this is an impossible question for me to answer without a lot of additional information. The problem could either be in the way you are marketing, the target market you are marketing to, the number of companies you are signed up with, or the market is slow in your area. There are millions of reasons that would effect the amount of closings that a notary receives -- most of which are probably out of their control. One of these reasons could be that the real estate market in your area is experiencing a slow time. The notary signing agent field is part of the real estate market. The real estate market is fed by the purchasing decisions of the general public. Any business that is based on the actions of the general public will never be consistent. Therefore, we encourage notaries to diversify and expand their services to additional areas. Limiting yourself to only conducting notarizations for real estate closings will never provide you with a steady income stream. Your income will always fluctuate from month-to-month. |
