||||
Covers a wide variety of topics. Make sure you read them all to get all the information. by Victoria Ring---Bio Dear Victoria: This is just a huge THANK YOU to Ms. Ring. You may get this a lot however I would feel wrong to be silent. Your website is a true blessing. Thank you for allowing the Lord to work through you to bless so many of us as we start and maintain our business. Everyone serves the Lord in their life's work in different ways. Thank you for being kind, and generous by sharing the knowledge you have with others; as well as sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. --Maria (Peace of Mind Concierge Service) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Victoria: It is so refreshing to know that your business is based upon a belief in Jesus Christ. I am so encouraged to began learning and developing my business as a certified notary signing agent. I live in the state of Ohio, near Cleveland. I am a paralegal and currently work for a marketing company as an independent contractor. I am seeking direction in my career and really feel led to start my own business. I have considered becoming a notary signing agent about a year ago but never pursued it. After experiencing frustration in my career path, I began to pray and the Lord placed on my heart to continue to pursue my career as a notary. I went to the library to request books about the notary signing agent field and the Librarian ordered your book for me, "How to Start Operate and Market a Freelance Notary Signing Agent Business". The book has been a blessing and I am following it to the "T". This Thursday, will be my second teleconference call with you. Please pray for me. I need wisdom and faith to be successful. I thank the Lord for your talents and your willingness to be a resource for others. -- In Christ, Ivy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Victoria: I received the Notary Bulletin for Aug. 2005 for NNA members and on Page 5 there is an article on TN and Senate Bill 1789 in regards to shutting out "out of town lenders" from competing with local lenders. What the bill consists of is that only loan closing agents will be allowed in a attorney, lender or title company office -- which will put myself as well as a lot of CNSA's out of work in the state of TN. Please post this info in your newsletter as this Bill was brought before the Senate in 2/2005 and is now assigned to the General Subcommittee. I am somewhat nervous and upset that I have not heard anything about this before it came up in February. I have written my local representative and urge other Tennessee notaries to do so the same. What happened to NSA's in Georgia could happen to us in Tennessee and we all need to start writing letters to kill this Bill. --Debbie ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Victoria: This question may not be related to marketing, but I am curious about it. Did the National Notary Association start the Notary Signing Agent field? --Gloria Dear Gloria: No. The job of a mobile notary actually began in California many years ago. A notary named Susan Pence developed the idea of forming a nationally recognized "notary signing agent" organization in the year 2000. In fact, Susan was the original developer of SigningAgent.Com. The National Notary Association purchased the company that Susan developed in 2002 and revamped it to what you see today. |
